This is the story of a Franco-Algerian teen from the projects, Sami, who gets sent to live with his well-married (read: rich) aunt. There is definitely a lot social commentary about race relations and stereotypes between the rich, catholic, ultra-traditional folk of centrally-located Parisian suburb Neuilly (where Sami goes to live) and the poor, immigrant-filled exurbs of Paris where he was raised. However, more than anything else, this is a funny movie.
