In June 1964 the Beatles arrived in Australia for a concert tour. There they encountered writer/photographer John Howard; when the group toured Europe the following year, Howard met up with them along the way. It was the beginning of a relationship that has spanned decades.
The exclusive pictures he took - a wealth of images never before seen - include shots on the Alpine Location of 'Help!' and extraordinary images of John Lennon in the anti-war film 'How I Won the War'. Spontaneous and revealing, these photographs capture the very essence of the Beatles.
